Data Request Instructions
and Documents
Whether a new client or continuing client, DecisionInsite requires data from the district in order to set up and maintain a district in the DI System. The following documents outline those requirements. Please download the ones that are relevant to your district.
New Clients
If you are a new DecisionInsite client, the following documents will outline the information required to set up your district and upload the essential data to getting started.

Continuing Clients
If you are a continuing client, then the following two documents will outline what is needed to add a new year of student data to the DI System and alert DecisionInsite of any changes to schools or attendance areas.
Sample Excel Files
Most data that are imported into the DI System can be accomplished by the client. And most of that data are uploaded in an Excel file format. The following two documents provide samples of both a “Student File” and a “School File”.
Download the samples, remove the sample data and use the file headers for creating your district’s upload files.
